Kenya and Germany Strengthen Bilateral Ties Through the Signing of a Comprehensive Labour Mobility Partnership Agreement.

The Republic of Kenya and the Federal Republic of Germany signed a Comprehensive Labour Mobility Partnership Agreement aimed at enhancing cooperation in the fields of labour mobility and vocational training. The signing occasion was witnessed by H.E. President William Samoei Ruto and the H.E. Olaf Scholz, The German Chancellor, in a ceremony held at the Chancellery in Berlin on 13th September 2024.

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION FROM THE KENYAN DIASPORA ON THE DRAFT DIASPORA POLICY 2024

The Government of Kenya, through the State Department for Diaspora Affairs, has embarked on the development of the Kenya Diaspora Policy 2024 to align and respond to emerging issues since the adoption of the Diaspora Policy in 2014.   

The Policy’s Goal is to protect, engage, empower and prosper the Kenyan diaspora. 

As a major stakeholder in the Policy formulation process, the Kenyan Diaspora is hereby invited to read through the draft Kenya Diaspora Policy 2024 and provide proposals and comments to enrich the draft Policy.

From 01.01.2024, an electronic travel authorization (eTA) is required for ALL visitors (foreigners except citizens of EAC member states) including infants and children, to enter the Republic of Kenya.

This must be applied for via the following link: www.etakenya.go.ke

eTA on arrival is NOT possible!

Already paid and issued eVisas are valid and can be used to enter Kenya until the expiry of their validity. You do NOT need an eTA when you have a valid visa.

It is no longer possible to apply for the eVisa.
